My topsy-turvy life

If only somebody had told me how uneventful this game would be I could have stayed in bed instead of driving all the way to Liverpool to sit in the cold with a hangover headache.

Ah well at least it was a point I suppose and a still unbeaten record at Goodison when a lot of people 'in the know' had predicted the bubble bursting. Before the game both teams were lead out by members of the armed forces and there was a minute's silence in anticipation of remembrance day as shown in the blip.

About the only eventful thing in the actual match was the collision between Lukaku and Hugo Lloris causing Lloris to lose conciousness -apparently. But after 8-9 minutes delay and with him being escorted off the pitch he decided that he wanted to carry on playing...and the medical staff let him. I know I'm not medically trained but I would have thought that even suspected concussion should have been monitored carefully.
Besides, Brad Friedel wouldn't have been a bad replacement.
