fireworks

A very full fun packed day today.

Started with Erin going to nursery where she is now starting her phonics and today they have been practicing the letter t. It was Diwali at the beginning of the week so today they had a party for it, they made tea light holders in the most amount of red glitter and made a lovely Card with a Diwali candle on the front. Gem and Charlie had come with me to pick her up which was a lovely surprise.
We all headed back to ours for lunch and a play. It was a brief play date as we were going out as soon as daddy came home. I wish we got more time with them as we don't see each other enough. The babies ate lovely together and played nice together. Erin loved mothering Charlie.

We headed out for a lovely afternoon and evening at Alton towers. We have been twice before with Erin but she would of been two young to remember but this time there was lots she could do and parts that we never knew were there before. At 7 the fireworks show started and what an amazing show it was. The babies loved it! It lasted 30 minutes which was probably a little bit too long for them but it was good all the same.
After the show we went on a few more rides and then off to the giant inflatables. We didn't set off until 930 which was so late but the babies did so well and Erin even made it about 5 minutes drive before joining Caleb in the land of nod.
