Countdown to 500 continues in Hakaniemi

Today I held classes in Hakaniemi which is pretty historic place in Helsinki. Finnish civil war started in the Granite Castle on 26th of January 1918. They raised a red light to the tower (been there) as a sign for the start of the revolution. This Blip was taken from that very tower!

I teach in that very building on Mondays. (Granite Castle not in the picture.) It amazes me. If walls could talk. I think I will have to Blip the Granite Castle too. It deserves the attention.

This thought has comforted me today:
I think I've discovered the secret of life
- you just hang around until you get used to it.
