B Day

Today is B-Day, and so far it's been pretty good.

But the weather! Up in the city when we left it was 32 degrees (as in Celsius, not Fahrenheit) , which is pretty warm. By the time we got down here, it was 19 degrees and blowing an absolute gale. We walked out onto the jetty (out of shot to the right), and I had to hang onto the railing to stop myself being blown over. Luckily, some of the cliffs gave us shelter while we did some late afternoon photography.

The cool change has blown in and the sky is just a kind of leaden grey. No pretty colours, but the scenery is awesome.

The wind may have something to do with the internet connection which is tenuous at best, so it will have to be a quickie tonight, and no real chance to comment.

Second Valley is about 50 miles or so from Adelaide, but it's almost like another country. The coast line is wild.

Rugged

PS The TV doesn't work too well either.
