Worm terror

The earth was crawling. When I looked closer, I noticed it was not soil but tens of worms all packed in together writhing just at the surface of the ground. I could almost feel the mole beneath my feet. They were trying to escape its clutches.

This was two days ago.

Today, I've noticed violent worm casts strewn up along straight channels between mole hills. Terror lives underground.

Today, I did not spot my mole but I feel I'm getting closer.

Today, I spied a mole of a different kind.
