Tay riverbank

I took a walk from Perth out to Willowgate after lunch. A narrow path runs along the strip of land between the Tay and the railway line.. The river was still and the glare of the reflected sun made it hard to see ahead at times. That was unexpected for November and this picture tries to capture that impression.

I didn't realise the tide was still rising, and on the way back I found the path was flooded for a few short stretches. Rather than take the longer walk back along the Dundee Road, I pressed on and had to wade through water up to a foot deep.
