The North Kessock Lifeboat crew are about to launch for their training night. I don't envy them.

Stopped from the cycle home for barely two minutes. Hands were numb by the time I moved on. A bitter wind with the season's first snow flakes in it. It was a bit heavier on the far side of the bridge, in Inverness. Hence that slight mistiness in the sky. Forecasters were spot on. Temperature dipping below freezing soon after I was home.

I won't be cycling tomorrow...
