Out of fashion.

I discovered this two volume Polish-Russian dictionary on the window ledge in the cellar under a thick layer of dust. How it came to be down there and why it was last used could be an interesting story, but not one I'm ever going to know.

The Rev. Kajtek has been considering the carols for the festive season and has decided that splicing hymns with other songs might perk up his service. After the old chestnut "Good King Wenseslas/Old McDonald" fusion he thought that "Silent Night/On Ilkley Moor Ba't'at" would cheer his congregation. He would like to hear of any more suggestions from Blip parishioners. He is looking forward to getting a new collar, which is long overdue.

Otherwise we have an array of new government ministers today. I suppose the old ones will be able to heave a collective sigh of relief after 6 years.

Who knows, maybe these old dictionaries will once again be needed.
