Blue Crane Feathers

Hubby had to take the car for it's annual MOT so we were up and out early this morning

Went to the local garden centre for breakfast while we waited and then it was off to the local zoo

We are lucky in that we have a wonderful zoo only 30 minutes from us, it's privately owned and done so well that you forget that the animals are in cages

Today we got the opportunity to feed and pet the wallabies, what a fabulous experience. What lovely creatures they were, unfortunately I was so busy feeding and stroking them that I didn't actually get many good shots of them

So instead you have a detail shot of the feathers of the Blue Crane, such graceful birds they are, and I love the neatness of the way the feather lie
