Sometimes a voice tells me what the picture title should be and I just have to listen. As an experiment today I tried a day trip to Glasgow on the train. I can report that this is a. possible and b. gives you almost a full working day up there. But it's a looonnngg day.

One of the big bonuses of such a trip is that the scenery in the last hour or so is marvellous and made all the better by a bit of sunshine and some photogenic clouds. This is looking West from the train window somewhere near Lanark.
