Persimmons at dusk

I was invited to come and pick this fruit from a friend's garden this afternoon, and noticed this sky as we were finishing. Here the tree and fruit are called Kaki, from the botanical name Diospyros kaki for the Japanese persimmon.
I'll try them out on some visiting friends this weekend. They're very soft and I usually open them and eat the very sweet flesh with a spoon (I'm talking about the fruit, not the friends). I might try adding some mint, if I can find some.
The bare branches with fruit remind me of a painting, but I'm not sure which. Maybe one of Mondrian's early tree studies.
