The Edge of the Wold

Hampsfell

A back blip from a Sunday in October when we met up with Sue for a walk over Hampsfell with Gus and Rowan. It was only a few days after losing Bob and we were feeling quite low. But Sue's company is infectious, when she laughs even the stoniest hearted will at least smile with her. And we had an afternoon of fun and laughter.

We ate the huge and scrumptious veggie lasagne that we otherwise would have eaten on Raasay, had the trip not been postponed because of Bob's illness. We went to see the Hospice on the top of the limestone fell that I have often photographed as a distant object in views from the other side of the Kent estuary.

Too good a day not to blip, albeit rather late.
