The Edge of the Wold

El toro

I felt like a vanquished matador looking up at the triumphant bull.

I took Gus on an unfamiliar route this morning, and we came back via Eaves Wood which is a bit of a labyrinth of tracks, very easy to get lost in. But eventually we went through a gate from the National Trust property into that of Holgate's, and we found a motley crew of cattle grazing in the woodland.

A much better weather day than expected, we made progress with taming the garden. We're both feeling a bit less raw today.

Wifie is watching Strictly. Comfort food for dinner. Back later.

This should be viewed life-sized.
