Pentlands day

It was a beautiful cold day, perfect for walking. I didn't have time to get up a hill today but I did have time to walk around the reservoir and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was fantastically still and quiet until all of a sudden a group of about 40 army squadies came running around the corner looking very tired and trying to not slip over on the ice! They were closely followed by 2 more groups.

I took hundreds of photos of the hills, the light was lovely and somehow I couldn't quite capture it. I found some handwritten information about the reservoir pinned to a notice board -

This afternoon we had a very helpful man from The Green Scheme come round to our flat and tell us that we can't have roof insulation because there isn't any cavity between the ceiling and the flat roof.

We went out in the evening for drinks with Andy's work mates, it was fun and somehow we got home after consuming a very large burrito.
