Lunchtime shopping

My day did not start out well as my usual bus was delayed by a road closure and I didn't make it to the station in time to get the train with my booked seat. Luckily, due to the vaguaries of the trains, although I'd missed the 8.02, the 7.57 was still expected. From experience, I know that there are usually lots of seats on that one, so I was pleased not to have to stand.

Nipped out at lunchtime to try and find a circular knitting needle from John Lewis so that we can recreate the chunky scarf for my friend. It was quite busy but I was able to nip in and out in my lunch hour. The haberdashery department is on the 4th floor; the picture shows the view down from the escalator
