Volleyball - Beach Style

Another day of volleyball, this time on Playa La Ropa. It was the first ever Festival Playero Ecological en Playa La Ropa. Lots of activities on our favorite beach, skim boarding, sailing, sand sculptures, and volleyball. I was asked to bring my portable net system which was used for the men's tournament, our usual net was used for the women's tournament. The games were to get going at 11:30, but it was more like 1:00 when things finally got underway. So typically Mexico. No one got upset about the delay (in truth, many players didn't show up until close to 1:00), they just made the best of a day at the beach. One of my current teammates pokes the ball into the block of a former teammate in this photo, captured during the men's final match (former teammate's team was victorious despite his losing this particular point).
