Flying Demon

Parochial man of mystery Chris Hurst and I walked the perimeter of the James Watt Dock today, a cold and bright day; mostly we discovered the rubble under our feet once belonged to the brick sheds which had once facilitated our great giant sugar sheds, but also we discovered the view. This photograph was taken by Chris Hurst (thanks Chris!).

We couldn't find Flying Demon however, though we found her lifebelt and feared for her continued existence. I'll be back soon in the company of great and wonderful poet John Glenday as we are beginning work on a book of words and photographs, to be published by Absent Voices in the late Spring.
