Correction Wynd

Correction Wynd runs along the side of St Nicholas Kirk in the centre of Aberdeen. For a few months several years ago I lived in an apartment here. As the name suggests there was at one time a house of correction nearby.

Now there is a short underpass from Correction Wynd leading to a small square called The Green. Potentially this could have been quite a nice open space, however it is spoilt beyond redemption by buildings at either end. There are several restaurants and a pub in the square. Today I had lunch at one of these restaurants. Considering it was Monday lunchtime we were surprised how busy it was.
