I've blipped it before, but it can be blipped in all seasons - the beautiful Canal du Midi - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There is something magical about the Canal du Midi - it stretches from the Atlantic down to the Mediterranean, here are a few facts :

It is possible to walk or cycle from just south of Bordeaux to L'étang de Thau on the Mediterranean.

Claude Nougaro a famous singer from Toulouse sang about it in his famous song 'Toulouse' which can be heard being sang at the rugby when Stade Toulousain play - the Canal passes through Toulouse.
