Thala Beach

Today we moved up to Thala Beach which is an Eco resort in the forest near Port Douglas.

Unfortunately, although the beach is lovely, it is not possible to swim there at this time of year because it is the season for box jelly fish.

However, there are two rock pools to swim in and we took full advantage of them.

It is from here that we go for a day on the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow!
