Grasses in the Snow

This first (closest to the camera) stand of tall grasses looked like the snow fairies had landed on them yesterday. Every time I passed I thought about taking a photo.; and instantly forgot. A missed moment....
Now, part of that stand is gracefully collapsing to the right, offering another good adequate blip. But I really should pay more attention to the ephemeral opportunities as they present themselves.
The driving rain we had all last night melted lots of snow, including the fairies. The rain caused the grass stand to collapse in the middle. And now the rain is turning to something else more solid, so I will leave this grass alone and watch what happens next.
