Kenwood House

Met some friends today for a walk around Hampstead Heath in North London. We went past Kenwood House which has been closed for a multi-million pound refurbishment and re-opens tomorrow, so we were just too early to see it. We ended up for lunch at The Holly Bush in Hampstead which, whilst a good old-fashioned pub, didn't look too promising at first on the food front. However, it just shows how wrong first impressions can be. The food was excellent and imaginative; certainly not your average pub food and clearly a chef who cares what he is doing.
