Lovember: Words

I love the grandiosity of the words we've pinched from Latin and Greek and I love the simplicity of our Anglo-Saxon words. I love that our native tongue is a glorious ever-changing melting pot of different languages and influences - just as our population is.

I love the rhythm of words in the hands of skilled wordsmiths. I love how words are of their time but can transcend the vagaries of fashion.

I love that words can ignite passion or kill it dead, that they can unite or divide and that they can inspire or deflate.

I love to see words, to hear them and to feel them.
