Thanksgiving Crackers

Remember I had a box of Thanksgiving crackers? Remember that the box advised that "nowdays crackers are for all festive occasions, not just Christmas...". I thought you might like to see what came out of them. The hats were more in line with fall colours and still weren't big enough to fit the son's large head. The jokes did all have a Thanksgivingy, well turkey theme, so they were probably recycled from Christmas. There was however a joke bad enough to share. "What music do pilgrims listen to?" "Plymouth Rock". It's the way I type 'em! On then to the high quality gifts made out of assorted shades of green plastic, the toy car, the comb, the fairy statue and the green frog, and the exception to the rule, a dreidl shaped red spinning top. Must be an interloper from a Hannukkah cracker. Best gift of all was the black plastic "I say Poirot old chap" moustache. Perfect for the boy who gave up on "No Shave November" on the 15th, but still wants to fit in. I can't find it anywhere, and suspect he's taking it back to college with him on Sunday!
