Sunday skies at Beverina Open Garden

Beverina is an amazing old garden and estate at Bridgewater in the Adelaide Hills. Today it was open to the public as part of our Open Garden scheme.

The restoration of the gardens around an interesting 19th-century stone house are a work in progress. Water is the essence of the garden with two beautiful lakes, a stream and a landscaped dam.

European conifers, huge Mediterranean borders, a rose garden, and an orchard. Plus original dry stone walling and bridges, and native plants such as my favourite kangaroo paws. Many of which we have in our own garden.

Bigger paws.

This blue sky background was the perfect setting for my blip for Lenna's SundaySkies.
