Lochan na h'Achlaise & Black Mount, Rannoch Moor

Early drive back to Glasgow from Glencoe this morning and the colours from the sunrise were fantastic. Driving through Glencoe it was dark and moody, but as I reached Buachaille Etive Mor the sky opened out and the still hidden rising sun was painting the few clouds shades of red and pink.

Unsurprisingly I passed a number of people out with their cameras and tripods (I really must get one), particularly in the middle of Rannoch Moor. However I decided to drive on a little bit and round the curve till I reached a parking space where I could get out and walk down to near the edge of Lochan na h'Achlaise to get this shot of the Black Mount.
