Weihnachtsmarkt Part 2

Went off to visit the Markt and see how it looked in daylight. One of the features of the market is the stage and there's always something going on, whether it's a band playing dodgy cover-versions of Christmas songs, German Schlager music or a local dance school putting on a little "Show". And they're guaranteed an audience because most of the stalls around it are selling Glühwein and things to eat.

The market was mobbed. Full of people with no sense of personal space. And quite a few Depps thrown in for good measure. It was not entirely pleasant.

And I've just realised I know nothing about German Xmas Carols (apart from Silent Night, which I'm sure every primary school taught one class to sing in German for the Xmas Concert).
