Christmas Shopping - bah humbug!

Today I did that very commercialised effort of Christmas shopping. One gift was bought for a family member and that was that. I'm not bothering with any more walking around big name shops. It's not that it was super busy but I'm just not into walking around shopping centres as the act itself seems to make my imagination devoid of any gift inspiration and I started to feel rather sheep-like and bored. I'd rather think about pressie buying at my own pace and get things for people that are a bit more individual or inspired. It's one of my best friends 40th birthday today and I have commissioned someone to make something for her. I've been told I will get it around the 10th...by the time she gets it, it may well be January! Hopefully going for the individual approach will work out ok :-/
