Brisbane.

Well, we made it to Brisbane, after a bit of a drama over Alexandra's christmas tree. She'd bought one in a sale last year, and when she put it up it was too big for her apartment.

After a lot of ringing around various stores, she couldn't find a smaller one. So off we went to Brisbane, with a problem free journey, but somehow we never seem to find our way into the King George Square carpark easily. Still, we got there in the end, and there was plenty of empty spaces.

Started looking for a christmas tree, and we found one in Myers, still 6', but a slimmer version than hers, so it will fit. So after we took it back to the car, we then went for a look around.

I wanted to take photos of the christmas windows, but there were too many reflections and lots of fingerprints. So in the end I blipped a street decoration .

Then we went for lunch at the Shingle Inn, in Brisbane City Hall. It was lovely, and the food was delicious. It's been re-created to look like the 1936 version of the Inn, with waitress service too! They wore black dresses, with little white caps and aprons. (Wish my mum was here she would've loved it).

We had a wander around the Brisbane Museum and then went back to the shops.
