Beginning of Summer......

Softer blooms welcome summer, delicate and pretty as they sway in a light breeze. Days of warm hot weather - we hope, bbq's with family and friends, time to embrace and enjoy summer gardens, hence I've been gardening dawn till dusk. Soon it will be time to lay down the tools and simply enjoy as holiday season is fast approaching.

These poppies were a gift from the birds last season, I let them go to seed. I hope to have them throughout summer as I see more plants developing in different areas of the garden, time will tell.

It's 23C, warm and calm with blue sky above, good weather for a bbq tonight, beef steaks with a green salad and tomatoes with a refreshing red wine.
