Sunbathing...

I was quite surprised to come across this sunbathing male wasp on my morning walk, when the temperature was only about 6C. Although we're now technically in winter, it seems as though autumn is hanging on for as long as possible in Peterborough this year. Perhaps the blast from the north, due to hit us on Thursday, will finally cause a switch in the seasons.
