Autumn has arrived.

Autumn has arrived with a vengeance today with a gale blowing up from the South West. We've had solid rain all day with no let up at all, although it wasn't so bad that we couldn't take His Majesty our for a blowy stroll.

Miss B and her entourage have also left - the house has been very quiet this afternoon.

So it's back to sleepy afternoons, log fires and a good read.
