Storms over Skye

Yesterday's gales have only just subsided, but not before we had a 36 hours of rain and high winds, but of course, this being the West Coast we get breaks of lovely sunshine, then the downpours start again.

This afternoon we set forth for a bracing walk in the sunshine only to find ourselves in the teeth of another squall rushing up the Sound of Sleat.

Actually it's not at all unpleasant, in fact very bracing and invigorating and of course the Wonder Dog loves it chasing leaves and bit's of seaweed flying around the beach.

So it was back home for warm drinks and the radio and another change of clothes.
