It was on a starry night...

In amongst the OTT and sometimes rather tasteless christmas decorations there can be found some more traditional displays, designed to remind us of the meaning of Christmas - so very far removed from the rampant commercialism we now associate with the festive season.

Let us keep Christmas beautiful without a thought of greed,
That it might live forevermore to fill our every need,
That it shall not be just a day, but last a lifetime through,
The miracle of Christmastime, that brings God close to you.
