Rowing ashore

6.3C and bright with a light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. As we were walking down the bridle path we could see that Valhalla VI was out at sea. By the time we got down to the beach we could see it was heading in towards shore.

The tide was high again so we walked along the grass area at the back of the beach to the Fishermen's huts then along by the cottages. When we got to the car park at Westhaven the owner of Valhalla VI was just offloading his catch into his dingy to row ashore. I did wonder if he might bring the boat out of the water this afternoon since we have a storm forecast for tonight and most of tomorrow.
