Frosty Edges

Hard frost this very crispy morning. Before the sun warmed us all up, I got a few shots of the ice sparkles on the foliage of plants which are still sticking around. In some, the frost had formed little tiny beads lying on top of the leaf surface. In others they were jagged and spiky. I decided on this shot with the frost lying on the edges of the foliage which emphasised the shape of the leaves.

There must be a reason why plants react differently to frost. I shall continue the exploration.
