Wilson's Snipes

There were upwards of a dozen Wilson's Snipes out in the Arcata Bottoms this afternoon--far more than I've ever seen together before. These aggregations of birds more solitary during the breeding season are an aspect of wintertime birding for which I feel really grateful.
