Breathe In And Out...

Hope in the storm

Backblip from Thursday. Walking to work yesterday during the first storm of the Scottish winter, I was pushed and pummeled by mighty blasts of Atlantic air. Wind speeds were recorded in excess of 100 mph in nearby mountains, and gusts of 75mph (forecast) in Stirling. It certainly felt like it. And yet, although the storm was pretty dramatic, and I was being fairly lashed by rain, this big patch of blue sky opened up, and the storm began to move over. It was flat calm and brilliantly clear by 10.30 a.m.
