Christmas carols at Downton

Spent a lovely morning singing Christmas carols at Highclere Castle with my choir for the open day there, it was v festive and they had a huge Christmas tree stretching right up to the balcony in the main hall. Beautiful.

This afternoon we went back to Newbury Christmas market and sampled the gluwein, German beer and sausages, along with the funfair and helter shelter (well T & C did anyway).

C has a bad cough coming on and sleep is much disturbed tonight already...despite best efforts with Olbas oil for children..a long night I suspect.
