Schomberg's Main Street Christmas

Edward and I had lunch with friends at a Victorian house turned pub in Schomberg, Ontario - the town were Edward grew up. It was also the the day of A Main Street Christmas, their annual evening parade and celebration. They had a parade with reindeer and miniature ponies, floats, carol;ers in Victorian dresses, an old fashioned town crier, Scottish pipers and more. They also have crafts and baking, hot apple cider, and other nice treats. The Scottish Nook shop was open as well and I got a couple of Haggis pies which I might save for Robbie Burns Night. Lunch was good and the Christmas festival was nice. The weather was good too, fortunately. Cold, but not windy. Oh, and Santa arrived on an 100 year old fire truck!

Edward also blipped the event.
