Power Cut

This is a companion shot to this one from the great Arran whiteout/blackout in March.

We spent about 7 hours today without power, and Mum and I performed a public service by spotting where the problem was and reporting it. But entertainment is easy to find in the dark, as my niece took great delight in showing us, placing her bottle of Irn Bru on the torch, then Mum and I watched the engineers fixing the fault, stood inside the back door watching them work. We were extremely impressed with the skills of the digger driver, and not envying the poor guys up the pole in the pouring rain (you can only see one in the shot, another joined him later, but it was too dark to get any kind of shot by that point). Happily the power is back on now, and I can blip now the wireless is working again.
