Revamped office

N's little cupboard of an office has been sorted and never will it be as empty or as tidy as it is now. The new bench desk is a great improvement and we shall be getting some more cabinets to slide under it. There are shelves up above for books and files.

A and I went to the Book Swap in the church this morning, with homemade soup, mince pies and Christmas music as we looked over the books. Oh, and some Traidcraft Chrismas cards. I swapped a book for Pepys Diary I have always been meaning to read, it will probably stay in the bookcase until a rainy day! The proceeds go towards the Lord's Larder, in other words the Food Bank in town organised by the churches.

Yet another villager has succumbed to Alzeimers, it is pretty worrying how so many people seem to be suffering with this disease.

T had a good day on the farmers' shoot with the dog.
