Train to nowhere

I spent quite a bit of time looking at this view out of the train window this morning, while my train went nowhere. I really like this short stretch of railway between London Bridge and Cannon Street though, up in the rooftops and fire escapes of the buildings around Bermondsey market. There are quite a few iconic London landmarks in the background here, too - it's not the best quality photo, but you can just about make out Tower 42, the 'Cheesegrater,' the Gherkin and the 'Walkie Talkie.'

We had our friends Richard and Cris round for dinner tonight. Really fun evening, and I cooked one of my favourite recipes, sesame-coated salmon with a creamy wasabi sauce. Yum!
