It was a day for watching the sky, at least at those moments when we weren't immersed in fog.

This is one of those moments where those of us at the top of the hill were in sunshine, but the valley had consistently foggy bottom. Those of you familiar with the cityscape will recognise the chimney of Manningham Mills poking up from the whiteness.

Other things in the sky today included: ninety rooks, mare's tails and lenticular clouds.
