Sgwarnog: In the Field

(Not My) Steppin' Stones

water
too deep
to cross the river
not
my stepping stones

Having taken the Train to Ben Rhydding, I walked into Ilkley, taking in the sights.

The Stepping Stones afford a right of way across the River Wharfe, but with the water as high as it was today, they weren't going to be my, or your stepping stones.

Further along the road, possibly the most immaculate milestone I've yet encountered.

In town, and over the river, probably the most immaculate Victorian Penfold pillar box I've yet encountered.

And even time to buy a pair of shoes.

And I saw a bumblebee when I went to pick the kids up from school. In December.
