Midday Sun over the Southern Sound

Midwinter approaches, only 10 days to go, and the sun really doesn't get very high in the sky. This was taken at 12:40, which is about 2 hours after the sun is at it's highest. I'm standing by the swimming pool. You can see two of these trees  on the right of that linked image.
It was really warm today (+5C) so the smooth ice in that photo is now rather slushy and wet.
