she misjudged!

Our dog Chloe did not make it to the regular wooden dock on her first try when jumping out of the boat. ooops! She scrambled to the lower floating dock and Steven helped her out. She looks a tad disgruntled and embarrassed don't you think? Larger, sadder eyes here.

Both of our dogs have done this more than once. If two of us are in the boat, one can hold their collars till it is a "safe" dock-jumping distance. But when Steven is driving the boat and docking it, he cannot hold onto their collars as well. Usuaually they listen to his verbal commands, but obviously not always!!!!!!

Reno update: The living room is completely empty. The kitchen has only a few things in it which will be moved to the garage tomorrow where our temporary kitchen will be. Friday morning the kitchen/living room renovation/demolition starts. My guess is the old cabinets and counters will be the first thing to go . . . more on the project was blipped here. I'll be in and out of here I predict, without quite as much time to devote to blip as I would like.
