Destruction

It was what can only be described in local dialect as a "gie dreich day", albeit a bit dreicher in Glasgow than Edinburgh, when I headed west to hand over my baby knits to Glasgow daughter.

A bit of baby retail therapy, a trip on the underground to Byres Road and a coffee at the foot of the road where I had digs as a post grad and which brought back memories from light years ago, before heading back to the Merchant City for a spot of lunch at Gandolfi's bar.
This blip was taken on the way back to the train, creating a scene of urban desolation in pouring rain.

The train was a little oasis of light and cheer as we sped east in the early darkness of a 3pm wet December afternoon ;dry in Edinburgh though, but still dark.
