A hand-made quilt raffle

Nathan has now raised just over £1,000 towards the £1,500 target required for his voluntary work in Nepal. Just when the ideas were beginning to wear out, this quilt has appeared. Hand-stitched by Flavia, one of Denise's colleagues at school; this quilt has been donated to be raffled, proceeds will go to Nathan's project.

My picture does not do the quilt justice. The thing itself, which measures about 5ft square, is a symphony of craft and colour. I am awestruck by this generosity! It would look good on any bed.
