Slime mould

I moved some logs from my winter fuel supply and found this slime mould growing on the wall behind. There are hundreds of different types and I wouldn't try to identify it. Fascinating stuff slime mould - a close look reveals that its made up of lots of separate organisms but they operate together to move and change shape in search of food. This one appears to be moving from right to left.
